    Yes, a woman must own or co-own the house purchased through this scheme.

    Your household income should be below 9 Lakh per annum. Your home loan should be sanctioned and disbursed after 1st Sept 2024. You should be the first home buyer in your family. (family includes husband, wife and their unmarried children). A woman's family member has to be the complete or partial owner of the property and a co-borrower of the loan. Your family and the property you are purchasing should not have availed any housing subsidy in the past. The house must be in a statutory town or notified planning area. It should be the beneficiary’s first pucca house. Your loan tenure has to be more than 5 years. Your bank account should be linked with your Aadhar card.
